The Ready to Read Corps will visit Kindway Share Shop located at 1729 Brice Road on 5/16/12, 6/20/12, 7/18/12, 8/15/12, 9//19/12, 10/17/12, 11/21/12, 12/19/12 from 9-11 a.m. to issue library cards and speak with parents and caregivers about preparing their children for kindergarten. The Groveport Ready to Read Corps will visit Buckeye Kiddie Campus at Eastland Mall on 05/17/12 from 11:00 - 1:00 to issue library cards and speak with parents and caregivers about preparing their children for Kindergarten. Stop by to receive a free library card and a literacy kit.
The Northland Corps will visit Helping Hands Free Clinic located at 1421 Morse Rd., 43229 on 1/13, 2/10, 3/9, 4/13, 5/18 & 6/8 from 3:30 - 4:30 to issue library cards and speak with parents and caregivers about preparing their children for kindergarten. Stop by to receive a free library card and literacy kit.

Sagal Ali is as a Ready to Read Corps team member who helps kids in the Hilltop community get ready for kindergarten. She was honored as a Champion of Change for her work with the Corps and in Somali diaspora issues. Champions of Change is a program created as part of President Barack Obama’s Winning the Future initiative.
